As part of a U.S. foreign military sale in 2019, the Slovak Air Force acquired two more F-16 Viper fighter planes. These are the fourth and fifth F-16s for the nation, and more are anticipated in the future to complete Bratislava’s purchase of 14 aircraft. Lockheed Martin, the industry partner, delivered the systems in a two-phase flight across the Atlantic, together with the Bulgarian military’s first Viper aircraft.
