Two H225M Caracal helicopters have been handed over to the air and space force by France’s defense procurement agency. The aircraft are the first two of eight H225M Caracals that Airbus Helicopters ordered in April 2021. The new helicopters have better operational capabilities than earlier versions. Upgrades include a modernized cockpit, enhanced detection with contemporary optronic cameras, and a more accurate GPS navigation system.
