The Turkish Navy has marked another step in its modernization efforts with the launch of the TCG Murat Reis, the third unit in the Reis-class submarine fleet. Held at Gölcük Naval Shipyard, the launch celebrates not just the program’s progress but also honors historical military milestones. These submarines are modeled after the German Type 214 and form a core part of Turkey’s indigenous shipbuilding goals.
