The last CV-22 Osprey military transport and cargo plane has begun production, with the project’s Program of Record (POR) completion set for the coming months, according to an announcement by aerospace behemoths Bell and Boeing. The last CV-22 will be manufactured at Bell’s assembly facility in Amarillo, Texas, where it will be rolled out for upcoming special operations missions that need sophisticated speed and range capabilities that other military planes lack.
