Sweden and Nammo have agreed to a 1.8 billion Swedish kroner ($186 million) deal for the supply of small-caliber ammunition. The order is the biggest contract Stockholm has ever given the firm for the cartridges and is a part of a fresh ten-year framework agreement. The ammunition will be delivered to Sweden between 2026 and 2028, guaranteeing safe deliveries “at a time when global capacity is scarce.” Ulf Kristersson, the Swedish prime minister, visited the company’s Karlsborg plant in southern Sweden to talk about the site’s production ramp-up.
