Saab has received a third order from Lithuania for its MSHORAD mobile air-defense system, valued at 1.4 billion SEK (~$148M), with deliveries from 2026 to 2030. The new acquisition adds another battery to Lithuania’s expanding air-defense network. Systems will be mounted on Oshkosh JLTVs, enhancing mobility. MSHORAD integrates the RBS 70 NG missile, Giraffe 1X radar, command-and-control, and datalink technologies to counter drones, aircraft, and incoming missiles. Lithuania has increased defense cooperation with Saab, previously ordering Carl-Gustaf M4 ammunition in 2023 and additional rifles and spares in 2025. The country also placed two MSHORAD orders in 2024, reinforcing its mobile air-defense capabilities.
