To improve Romania’s air defense capabilities, RTX has signed a $946 million contract to provide more Patriot missile systems to the nation. Following previous purchases in 2017 and 2020, the agreement represents Bucharest’s third order of Patriot systems. The most recent agreement includes the delivery of Patriot fire units, which consist of sophisticated radars, control stations, and interceptor missiles.
