KNDS Germany and the Lithuanian Defense Materiel Agency have agreed to provide the Lithuanian Army with 44 LEOPARD 2 A8 tanks. Lithuania is now the 23rd LEOPARD 2 user country, having established an armored unit for the first time in its history. The deal, which is worth EUR 950 million, includes a full logistics and spare parts package in addition to the LEOPARD 2 A8 main battle tanks.
