A kinetic counter-drone swarm system being created for the Indian Army has been tested by India’s Solar Group. During the trial, the Bhargavastra micro-missile system neutralized virtual targets at a height of 400 meters (1,312 feet) and a distance of 2.5 kilometers (1.55 miles) away. The affordable solution has been developed by Economic Explosive Ltd., a subsidiary of Solar Group. It includes mini-missiles with a range of 6 kilometers (3.72 miles), as well as advanced command and control systems and radar and seeker equipment.
