India and the United Kingdom are collaborating to create the Indian Navy’s fleet of amphibious warships.

For more than ten years, the Indian Navy has been attempting to purchase amphibious warships or Landing Platform Docks (LPD). The idea is gaining traction now that India is working with the United Kingdom to create and build electric propulsion systems for its cutting-edge landing platform docks (LPDs). Additionally, the designs will benefit from the UK’s shipbuilding industry.
