“Thales and KNDS France have unveiled a land-based version of the RAPIDFire naval defense system, which is intended to defend valuable assets in fast-moving battlefields.
The system is capable of countering drones, loitering munitions, low-end cruise missiles, and indirect fire threats because it was designed for close-range defense.
It can provide point defense up to 4 km (2.5 mi) thanks to a 140-round ready rack that allows it to maintain fire with fewer reloads.
