Hanwha Defense USA and Texas-based UNION Technologies have formed a strategic partnership to expand manufacturing capacity for 155-millimeter artillery ammunition in the United States. The collaboration aims to strengthen the US defense industrial base and ensure reliable supply chains for both American forces and allied militaries. Initially, the companies will focus on producing metal components used in artillery shells. A joint working group will coordinate engineering integration, quality control, and production planning to accelerate output.
