France’s defense procurement agency has awarded a contract to Cerbair to provide drone detection capabilities for seven new offshore patrol vessels of the French Navy. The company will supply the naval version of its Hydra radio frequency detection system, designed to scan the electromagnetic spectrum and pinpoint both drones and their operators. Utilizing sophisticated signal processing and artificial intelligence, the system will bolster maritime threat detection and enhance operational awareness.
