For its 155 mm self-propelled artillery systems, Norway has reached an agreement with the US to purchase the Precision Guidance Kit M1156A1.No more information was made available. Nonetheless, in December, the US State Department granted Oslo’s request to purchase 8,001 M1156A1s for about $130 million. This is one of the purchases Norway is making as part of its significant investment in artillery ammunition in order to improve the efficiency of the Army’s artillery system.
