Indonesian Navy has taken delivery of its second Brawijaya-class offshore patrol vessel from Fincantieri. The vessel, named KRI Prabu Siliwangi (321), is currently undergoing final outfitting in Lampung before entering service. The ship is based on Italy’s Thaon di Revel-class design and represents one of Indonesia’s most advanced naval assets. Measuring 143 meters in length, it features a dual-hangar setup, advanced propulsion combining gas turbines and diesel engines, and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. Its armament includes naval guns, missile systems, and electronic warfare capabilities, supporting multi-role operations. This acquisition reflects Indonesia’s efforts to modernize its fleet and enhance maritime security.
