Elbit Systems will reveal its latest innovation, the PAWS-2 HR missile warning system, at the Paris Air Show taking place June 16–22. The system enhances aircraft protection in dense threat environments.
The PAWS-2 HR uses an advanced cooled Mid-Wave Infrared sensor with more than five megapixels, providing military aircraft like fighters and helicopters with improved detection range and image quality.
Designed for rapid threat recognition, it tracks various infrared-guided missiles and geolocates launch points with precision. It also boosts threat classification and countermeasure timing, significantly reducing the likelihood of false alarms.
