BAE Systems has won contracts worth about $171 million to supply advanced programmable 40 mm and 57 mm ammunition to Sweden and Finland. The 3P rounds are capable of engaging drones, missiles, surface threats, and ground targets, enhancing both land-based and naval air defense. Integrated across existing platforms, the ammunition improves flexibility against evolving threats. The deal builds on BAE’s recent regional contracts, including BONUS precision munitions and CV9035 vehicle programs.
