The first two Airbus-made H145M multirole helicopters have been delivered to Cyprus in accordance with a deal that has been signed. The modernization of the rotary-wing aircraft fleet includes the delivery of six five-bladed platforms for the Cypriot National Guard, the nation’s military force. The remaining airframes will be delivered later this year in accordance with the agreement. All of the H145M hulls for the Mediterranean nation will be equipped with Airbus’ exclusive HForce weapons system, allowing the helicopter to be used for light attack operations.
