The Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) of Singapore has signed an agreement with Airbus Helicopters to advance crewed-uncrewed teaming capabilities between the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) H225M Medium Lift helicopter and Airbus Helicopters’ Flexrotor UAS. The partnership will conduct a flight demonstration to explore how this teaming can improve situational awareness and mission success.
Airbus’ newly developed HTeaming system will be integrated aboard the RSAF’s H225M, allowing the helicopter crew to directly control the Flexrotor. The demonstration is designed to highlight the effectiveness of Airbus’ teaming solution and the value added through collaboration between crewed and uncrewed aerial platforms.
HTeaming, recently unveiled by Airbus, is a modular system comprising a modem, four antennas, a tablet, and associated software.
