The US Army’s CAML program, drawing bids from Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, aims to develop advanced heavy and medium autonomous launchers. CAML Heavy will use a 15-ton vehicle to fire Tomahawk or PAC-3 missiles, while CAML Medium will be built on an FMTV to launch MLRS or IFPC AIM-9X rounds. Although both companies are in the competition, specifics of their solutions remain undisclosed.
