A new milestone was reached in the Sentinel ICBM development as Northrop Grumman and the USAF tested the stage-two rocket motor in a simulated space environment. Utilizing digital models, the test validated propulsion and control systems, supporting future upgrades. This test is part of a broader initiative to replace the aging Minuteman III missiles across three US Air Force bases with the advanced LGM-35A Sentinel.
