Babcock International and Aselsan are evaluating a joint approach to meeting the RAF’s future electronic warfare training needs, reflecting the UK’s shift toward preparing aircrews for high-threat, contested environments. The proposed Surface Electronic Warfare Threat system would simulate modern integrated air defence networks, allowing scalable and reconfigurable training against advanced radar and missile threats while reducing dependence on costly live exercises.
