The United Kingdom has selected Persistent Systems to provide an advanced tactical communications network for the 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team. The system is built around the MPU5 radio and Wave Relay technology, enabling soldiers to communicate through voice, data, and video without relying on fixed infrastructure. The network uses a mobile ad hoc architecture that automatically reroutes connections if a node is lost, ensuring reliable communication in complex combat environments.
