A new contract between Eurofighter and NETMA will introduce an Aerodynamic Modification Kit aimed at boosting the Typhoon’s combat adaptability. By refining aerodynamic surfaces and updating flight controls, the modification enhances maneuverability and increases lift, reportedly improving turning performance and payload flexibility. The upgrade supports faster certification of modern munitions, including standoff and anti-radiation missiles critical for suppressing enemy air defenses. Developed jointly by Airbus, BAE Systems, and Leonardo, the initiative reinforces Europe’s aerospace industry while ensuring the Typhoon remains competitive in evolving threat environments.
