The US Army has chosen TTTECH North America to deliver an advanced networking system for its High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) aircraft program.
The company will supply a 10 Gigabit Time-Sensitive Networking platform featuring switches and endpoints compliant with aerospace onboard Ethernet standards, along with configuration tools and support software. The system enables real-time avionics data exchange with fault-tolerant scheduling and meets DO-178 Design Assurance Level A certification, the highest aviation software safety standard.
Built on an open digital architecture, the solution supports rapid upgrades and modular integration. The HADES fleet, announced in 2024, will replace legacy turboprop ISR aircraft with up to six Bombardier Global 6500-based platforms over 12 years. Prime contractor SNC is currently modifying four aircraft in Maryland.
