In an interview with TV2, the Danish Minister of Defense stated that Denmark intends to purchase at least ten more F-35A fighter planes from the United States before October. This planned acquisition is a result of the available manufacturing capacity on the American assembly lines, which was discussed during meetings in Washington, D.C. As TV2’s U.S. correspondent noted, Denmark may prevent delays brought on by longer queues by placing an order now or in the fall. This is due to the fact that Lockheed Martin’s manufacturing facilities are now under less demand pressure, which allows for quicker deliveries for a short period of time.
