In order to improve the Swedish Air Force’s ground targeting skills, Sweden has signed a contract with Rheinmetall to buy Mk82 bombs for its Gripen jet. The order, which is worth over 100 million Swedish kronor ($9 million), is expected to be delivered in the second quarter of this year. The Jas 39 Gripen C/D and E planes are compatible with the Mk82.
