In a move to bolster its counter-drone defenses, the U.S. Army has awarded MyDefence a $26 million contract for wearable C-UAS systems. The deal introduces the Soldier-Kit—featuring the compact “Wingman” detector and “Pitbull” jammer—into U.S. military operations.

Weighing just 1.3 kilograms, the system integrates seamlessly with tactical gear, offering real-time detection and neutralization of unmanned aerial threats in contested environments. The contract reflects growing urgency to counter drone risks and signifies deepening defense ties between the U.S. and Denmark.

Joint trials in Germany, led by U.S. European Command, have already showcased the system’s effectiveness in multinational training exercises.
