Turkey has signed a deal with BMC, a domestic vehicle manufacturer, to provide its land forces with Altu? 8×8 armored battle vehicles. According to the agreement, the ?zmir-based business will supply 29 system hulls and accompanying integrated logistics support for the military. As part of Ankara’s ongoing initiative to improve the air and ground defense capabilities of the armed forces’ tactical vehicles, each platform in this deal is anticipated to have a 35-millimeter turret system installed.
