The first air defense vehicle with a Boxer Skyranger 30 cannon from Rheinmetall has been delivered to the Bundeswehr. This system is a verification model that will be used for training and testing during the next several months. Germany placed an order for the newly delivered verification model last year, along with 18 other Skyranger vehicles to be made in series production. The 18 vehicles are expected to be delivered between 2027 and 2028.
