The conceptual design of the Perk?nas (Thunder) class patrol boats for the Lithuanian Navy was unveiled by the Lithuanian shipbuilder Western Baltic Engineering. The milestone is in line with Vilnius’ aim of using cutting-edge maritime security assets that integrate “state-of-the-art” capabilities to address gaps in infrastructure protection and specialized operations. Each boat in the project will be 88 meters (289 feet) in length and have a 17-meter (56-foot) beam.
