Babcock has signed a contract to provide Pilatus PC-7 MKX training aircraft to the French Air and Space Force and the French Navy. The 795 million euro ($827.9 million) agreement includes 22 of the low-wing aircraft, related through-life support, infrastructure elements, and pilot equipment. Military students will receive standard flight instruction at the Salon-de-Provence Air Base in southern France before moving on to fighter and transport pilot positions.
