The first aircraft radar warning receiver (RWR) ever created by RTX includes artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology. The cutting-edge technology uses the company’s Cognitive Algorithm Deployment System (CADS) to facilitate the integration of AI/ML models into older RWRs. The CADS integrates Deepwave’s computing stack with the newest Embedded Graphics Processing Unit, enabling threat processing at the sensor level. The RWR is now able to use cognitive methods to prioritize, identify, and classify threats with greater accuracy.
