The first missionized OA-1K Skyraider II aircraft has been delivered to the US Air Force Special Operations Command by Air Tractor and L3Harris. The Skyraider II is intended for armed intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, as well as close air support and precision strikes. It will assist Special Operations Forces (SOF) in executing a variety of operations in accordance with the US National Defense Strategy. Due to the aircraft’s design, it may fly from distant and harsh airfields. SOF can use its adaptability to combat enemies in a wide range of battle situations.
