Roshel, a Canadian mobility developer, has introduced an ambulance version of its Senator 4×4 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle. The system, dubbed the Senator Medical Evacuation, is built on the standard Ford F-550 chassis of its base model and includes an extra back door to facilitate connected operations. The platform’s interior has specialized capabilities to assist tactical health specialists in the field and will be able to accommodate four patients in a supine position. Roshel’s announcement follows the September release of its Captain armored personnel carrier, which is built on the Toyota Land Cruiser 70.
