The new Panoramic next-generation night vision goggles from Thales were unveiled at a special operations tech conference held in Martignas Sur Jalle, France. The solution, which is made for crucial tasks like extraction and counterterrorism, uses four light amplification tubes to provide dismounted troops with a larger peripheral field of vision without requiring them to turn their heads. With a weight of 740 grams (1.6 pounds) and a size no larger than a helmet, this instrument boasts an ergonomic design.
