Pilatus has partnered with French defense company Thales to equip its PC-7 training aircraft with a new radio management system tailored for modern military requirements. The system enables seamless communication across different mission scenarios, from pilot training to tactical operations, while ensuring reliability in demanding environments. Developed through close collaboration, it integrates with existing avionics and mission systems, enhancing overall performance. Thales’ growing portfolio in secure communications, bolstered by recent acquisitions, played a key role in its selection. The upgrade supports the continued evolution of the PC-7 platform used by multiple European air forces.
