Poland has finalized a significant contract to acquire mobile communication nodes for the second phase of its air and missile defense program. These nodes will provide secure, interference-resistant communications across tactical and operational levels, forming a key component of the multi-layered defense network. Deliveries are planned over several years, with accompanying logistics and training support to ensure seamless integration. The system complements the initial phase of the program, which included long-range interceptor batteries and advanced command systems designed to counter aerial threats ranging from manned aircraft to missiles and drones. Phase II introduces upgraded sensors with advanced radar technology, offering full 360-degree tracking and enhanced capabilities against modern ballistic and hypersonic threats. This procurement strengthens Poland’s air defense infrastructure, ensures interoperability with allied forces, and advances the country’s strategic objective of maintaining a robust and resilient national defense posture.
