South Korea aims to produce up to 120 KF-21 Boramae fighter jets by the early 2030s. The initial batch of 20 is scheduled for delivery between 2026 and 2027, replacing legacy F-4 and F-5 aircraft. Powered by twin F414 engines, each jet is capable of reaching Mach 1.8 and flying up to 1,500 nautical miles.
