The Republic of Korea Air Force has partnered with QinetiQ to provide advanced training for its pilots and engineers at the Empire Test Pilots’ School in the UK. Known for its long-standing expertise, the institution offers specialized instruction in flight testing for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Under this agreement, two pilots and two engineers will undergo a comprehensive six-month program covering experimental flight operations, system evaluation, and data analysis. The training combines classroom learning with hands-on experience, helping participants develop critical thinking and technical skills. Trainees will also have opportunities to collaborate with UK and NATO personnel, enhancing interoperability and global exposure.
