LIG Nex1 has been tasked with delivering South Korea’s first stand-off electronic warfare aircraft, a complex platform designed to disrupt enemy command and radar networks at long range. Adapted from a business jet airframe, the aircraft will provide persistent EW coverage without exposing crews to heavily defended airspace. The program reflects Seoul’s response to increasing electronic threats and positions the country alongside advanced EW operators globally.
