“At its plant in Rosyth, Scotland, Babcock has unveiled the Royal Navy’s first Type 31 frigate.
Before being inducted into the military, the HMS Venturer (F12) goes through its final outfitting process, which marks the end of its three-year construction.
The warship was moved by the firm’s specially designed transport cradles, which positioned the hull for its initial voyage into the River Forth this summer.
The ship will return to Rosyth following the platform’s float-off for sea trial preparations and dock-based integrations.
