Saab has secured a SEK 1.1 billion ($119 million) contract to deliver Arthur artillery-locating radars to Sweden, with deliveries planned for 2027. The digital radar detects incoming shells, rockets, and mortars, calculating launch points and predicted impact locations to support counter-battery fire. With detection ranges up to 100 km and rapid setup times, Arthur enhances survivability and situational awareness. The long-term support framework also allows partner nations to join the program.
