Saab is promoting its Beingke-class A26 submarine, which it describes as the world’s first fifth-generation undersea platform. The A26 is engineered for deep-diving missions and can deploy UUVs, swimmer-delivery vehicles, and a range of ISR and weapon systems. With exceptionally low acoustic signatures, the submarine can navigate heavily monitored waters such as the Baltic Sea with minimal detectability, allowing it to act as a covert surveillance and strike asset.
