Under a framework agreement, the Latvian Ministry of Defense has placed an order with Saab for an air defense system. The RBS 70 NG system, a short-range, ground-based system with a value of 2.1 billion Swedish krona (about $209 million), will be provided by Saab, along with firing units, training units, and missiles. Deliveries are planned for the years 2026 to 2030.
