On December 13, 2024, Saab announced it had secured a SEK 340 million (EUR 29.5 million) contract from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to deliver Sea Giraffe 1X radar systems to the Swedish Navy. The contract covers various radar configurations intended for installation on naval vessels as well as use in training environments, with deliveries scheduled to continue through 2026.
