Rune Technologies has joined the US Army’s NGC2 prototype effort led by Anduril, contributing its TyrOS logistics software to improve operational decision-making. Valued at nearly $100 million, the program is being tested with the 4th Infantry Division to modernize command-and-control architecture. TyrOS enables sustainment planning in disrupted communications environments by optimizing data transmission and dynamically shifting between edge and cloud computing. The Army’s layered NGC2 framework integrates transport, infrastructure, data, and AI-enabled applications into a unified architecture to enhance battlefield awareness and coordination.
