Turkish land systems manufacturer Otokar has signed a multi-year contract with Romtehnica, on behalf of the Romanian Ministry of Defense, for the supply of 1,059 COBRA II 4×4 light tactical armored vehicles. Valued at approximately €857 million, this agreement represents a significant step in Romania’s military modernization and includes substantial local production in Romania, thereby strengthening industrial cooperation between the two nations.
