The Polish defense firm Pit-Radwar has unveiled the SA-35MM, a VSHORAD system equipped with a 35mm cannon and programmable airburst ammo. The ammunition is inductively programmed to explode at precise intervals, maximizing its destructive effect and reducing the number of rounds needed for interception. Against drones, only seven airburst rounds are required for a 97% hit rate, compared to 24 standard rounds for a 99% strike probability.
