Brazil is advancing a new laser-guided missile capability through the MAX 1.2 AC, developed by SIATT under EDGE Group. Designed as a high-precision, line-of-sight weapon, the missile follows a laser-designated path, providing infantry with an accurate direct-fire option against tanks and modern armored vehicles. The system currently has a range beginning at 3.2 kilometers (2 miles), with extended reach achievable when integrated with platforms like the Cascavel NG armored vehicle.
